Hi, I’m Burcu Kızılkaya 

Throughout every period of my life, I have carried an artist spirit that feeds on different branches of art and is never satisfied with exploring and learning.

From the foundations of a chemical engineer to the heights of a financial analyst, I found solace in the workshops where my colorful ideas could burst forth into existence. 

Over the years, I have learned many techniques and materials from many branches of art. I guess due to the colorful character within me, rather than confining myself to a singular artistic avenue, I find allure in the harmonious blend of diverse techniques. 

Sustainable Future: Where Waste Paper Finds Renewal!

Over time, I began to think that my art should not only be a means of expression but also convey a message, serve a purpose. My love for nature and sensitivity to the reuse of waste led me to work with a very old technique, “paper mache”. I started making decorative items and paintings from waste paper to draw attention to the environmental challenges our world is facing. In this way, I not only express myself through my artworks but also create a platform to convey a message of environmental awareness.

It is incredibly exciting for me to meet you on my artistic journey and sharing my artworks with you. I hope that while leaving a mark in my own world, I can also make a touch on this world that belongs to all of us.
